It provides bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management functions.This integration is carried out using the web services and for the web services to communicate Java code is written.Integration is possible to achieve from JIRA-Remedy and Remedy-JIRA case exchange.
Remedy 7.x Custom Application Case Exchange Integration
Integration between Remedy ITSM 7.x and Remedy AR 7.x custom application, both applications are installed in different data canters and accessible to different sets of users.Sample Integration Use Case:
1. Any updates at remedy ITSM 7.x will be synchronized to Remedy AR 7.x custom application
2. Any updates at Remedy 7.x custom application will be real time updates to remedy ITSM.
3. Create incidents through API Interface actions (Create, Update, Query and Close) in Remedy custom application.
4. On Ticket submission, Remedy custom app workflow consumes Remedy ITSM webservice and creates ticket in Remedy ITSM and fetches ticket number and log.
5. If the ticket is updated in Remedy custom app, then workflow consumes UPDATE webservice of ITSM remedy and updates ticket in remedy ITSM.
6. API’s fetches the updates from Remedy custom app on timely basis This integration is carried out using the web services and for the web services to communicate Java code is written.
